What .45 ACP target ammo do you use?

I just want to get a sense of what people actualy shoot in their guns. Ive been searching on who uses what ammo but its so scattered and thought it would help to put it here (for me at least )
so yeah i'm talking just full metal jacket stuff.. Ill figure out my home defense stuff later, probably speer gold dots.. dunno..

for FMJ's... I roll my own.... actually the only factory stuff I own for ANY of my handguns is for defense..... I usually use PMC Starfires....... 9.., 357mag, 45acp.

now any 45acp that cost around$11-15/box(50 rd) +tax is good target ammo.

I was able to get 2K of Black Hills BB 200 SWC's for a good price two years ago.

When that runs out, I'll be loading my own. 200 SWC's over 4.2 gns of BE.

General shooting Federal American Eagle 230gr FMJ
Target, 200gr plated SWC (Xtreme) in Federal Cases, Win primer, 5.0 gr Win 231 gives me very tight groups.

JHC How much Bullseye are you putting behind that 200gr SWC?

I reload .223 and 308. I cant justiffy reloading .45 because I dont shoot enough of it

All reloads. Using a 225gr RN cast with wheel weights I got for free. Brass is range pick-up. Comes out to about $2 per 50 rounds. Can't beat it.

I've used all of those with no problems in my Milspec. Accuracy and reliability are both fine for range shooting (typically 10 yards). Currently I'm using WWB, just because I got a few hundred rounds last time I bought.

I'm using gravygrabber reloads, since I match them to my barrel they work awesome! Bullets are 200g SWC's.
