I've also heard of 7.62x39 being formed into 6.8.

The 7.62x39 case head diameter is 1/2mm too large to form into 6.8spc.
However, the 7.62x39 case head is the proper size to form 6.5 Grenade brass with.

You can do .223 to .222. A lot of guys do that because .222 ammo is exponentially more expensive. You can also make .222 out of .223 blanks.

I don't reload for 9mm Luger, so any 9mm brass I recover gets cut down for 9mm Makarov. I love doing that! Makes me feel like I know what I'm doing.

You can also make .32-20 into .25-20.

If you want to "match port" your brass to your chamber, you can neck down 35 Whelen to .30-06. You can also do the same by re-sizing .30-06 into .308.

Slightly more ovbious but if you get split necks on magnum cases, you can turn them down to "special" length, as long as you watch your load data. Sometimes the brass is thicker, and you might get some "flyers". If you get a set of 50, you should be fine.
