    This just doesn't look right.

Bought some factory 10mm JHP ammo and this is what the bullets looked like. What the h@ll is the stuff inside the hollow point cavity? I've seen too many science fiction movies but I'm not going to sleep in the same room with this ammo.

Seriously, is this stuff bad enough to go back to the maker?

If you mean the yellow fuzzy stuff around the case, that's just micro fiber cloth that I wrapped the cartridge in, while I had it clamped down for the picture. If you mean what is around the lead lip of the hollow point, ya got me. I sure would like to know that too.

            What does it taste like?

            Where did you get it?

              It tastes like chicken.

This came as a replacement box, from the manufacturer, when other ammo I bought was defective. For now I'll keep the company's name out of it, until I find out from them, what this crud is. But, I can say, I am starting to think there is something very wrong with their quality control.

                    Ear wax?

I think it must be some kind of lube.

The "lube" is not what bothers me about the ammo. the lead looks really jacked up
I will share my opinion and my load data, BUT I am just a guy with too many cigars and too many guns. Whatever I say is probably wrong.

Looks like a DT 135 nosler with the nickel case. Hopefully the manufacturer takes care of you!

It looks like wax or some other kind of lube. Maybe someone at the factory used the bullet as an earplug.

A lot of HPs have a was or something in the center. It is supposedly to help with expansion. I don't know if it's true or not, but an older gent I know said he used to drop a little epoxy down the tip of his HPs to make them expand better as well. Again... no idea if it works.
