Sight in your rifle/scope before you chrono. Otherwise, you'll end up killing the chrono.

I was trying to do both to save time; now pack I pack a lot lighter when i go to the range.

What brand Chrono? Some manufacturers cut you a 50% break for replacement.

Prochrono I think. Box and everything are in the range trash though

I double check by clamping my gun down, taking the bolt out and look through the chrono screen sticks back to the rifle. If you can do that or at least try to bore sight from the gun down through the chrony, you should be "close enough"

I should have taken pics of the corpse, taken down by a 458S. She went down hard, burnt plastic was my lasting memory.

I don't own a chrono, but have often wondered if I would do the same thing. I probably would.

But I don't know if I would tell anyone.
