If you have a LoadMaster, this site is second-to-none that I've been able to find: http://www.loadmastervideos.com. There are lots of resources on fixing various primer issues. Sometimes it simply comes down to cleaning out the priming system as any kind of grime in there can make it malfunction.

I don't prime on my load master because like all progressive presses, the priming system can stop your reloading session cold. I just deprime and prime on my LEE single stage. I keep a shoe box full of primed brass for each caliber I load primed and ready to go for the load master. I do like the fact that I don't worry about priming now when I am cranking out the rounds. I feel your pain and eventually just realized that priming on my loadmaster sucked.

CALGUNS DICTIONARY "FLIER": when a shooter wants to turn a 1 inch group to a half inch group because he flinched.

I can prime on a single stage, Lee Cast Iron Turret, hand held tools, but I always go back to the Loadmaster and just run them. I've never had all the issues I read about, just floored me when I found out people had priming issues with a LM.

OP, what is the source of the brass? New, ammo you shot and picked up the brass, range brass? I've never had a problem with new or ammo I shot. Range stuff can have a crimped primer that will play hell with LM priming.

The range brass I deprime with the Lee depriming die and then ream 100% of them. Then it's back into the LM for priming.

Have you noticed any pattern to the failures?

If you do decide to go with hand priming, get the RCBS Universal hand primer. I have both the Lee and the RCBS hand primers, the RCBS is much better made and has more leverage, much easier when doing a bunch of rifle cases with tight primer pockets. Also, the RCBS doesn't require you to buy special shellholders, in fact no shellholders.
