Targets: Made a PDF for developing MOA loads...

I am posting four targets. They are 1 MOA at 100, 200, 300, and 400 yards.

I have also included a 4MOA at 100 Yards for shooting iron sights. It has a square target which should make it easier to measure your target at a distance through a scope. Plus, it's useful for when you need to measure 1" for a program like On Target.

Feel free to print as many as you like.

Be aware that my original targets were actually about .75 MOA at 100yds, so delete that file and grab the new one!

I might take a stab at that. Anything you'd specifically want on it? I made this one specifically for using On Target software.

Very nice. Can you make a MOA one for 200yds?

I'm willing to make more... But I'm not up on all the terminology. For 200yds, would you just want a target twice as big?

            What makes it mil?

For 200 yards you would just make a 2" target, so yes, twice as big.

I still use 1 MOA targets with my MRAD scopes.... but 1 MRAD = 1cm @ 100 meters

I should be able to pump a target out by Thursday. The work week has been a bit busy.

So what is a Mil target?

What is an MOA target? If it's just a target that's 1 MOA at a particular distance, then a Mil target for consistency ought to be some fraction of 1 milliradian (a full mil is 3.6" at 1 yard - not a terribly ambitious target to shoot at). Now, a 1/10 or 1/5 mil target - that sounds decent for scoped work - either .36 or .72 inches at 100 yards, respectively. I'm still missing the point of a Mil vs. MOA target, though.

Yeah... That just made it foggier. 1MOA is about 1" at 100yds, so I just made 1" targets. I cannot guess what a Mil target is in this context. Maybe he wants it to be similar in some fashion to a mildot scope?

I usually get my targets from here . There are over 60 Moa targets for different, 175 mil targets for different distances.

But I like being space to write load info on Kappy's targets

Oooh. Those are kind of cool. I could use some of those for sighting in my rifle!

Mine is basically because all I use to shoot at are the little one-inch shoot'n'sees normally.

I'll still do one with 2" dots.
