    338 win mag

Does anyone know of a source for re-loads in 338 win mag just for sighting and practice purposes? New ammo is expensive, although I will still use new ammo before I hunt with it, it would be nice to find less expensive ammo just for sighting purposes.

Remanufactured 338 win mag is going to be hard to find.

You can't have a calguns member make it for you but you may be able to find someone who might let you come over and walk you through reloading your own.

or better yet, get in to reloading with expensive calibers it really pays off.
I will share my opinion and my load data, BUT I am just a guy with too many cigars and too many guns. Whatever I say is probably wrong.

Where are you located? If you are near me you can come over and load some yourself.

Why would you sight in or zero with a load you aren't going to hunt with?

Cost of ammo or bullets for handloads. I do it often. However after getting it on paper and zero I THEN shoot my hunting loads to be sure it is where I want it. If not then I use hunting loads to fine tune the zero. When you have a small income and the bullets, alone, you are using cost over $1.24 each I try not to use up too many target shooting. I also load used brass for the sight in loads and always use new brass for my big game hunting loads with the expensive bullets.
