Looking for a small reloading bench/table

I'm in the market for a small and cheap reloading table. I'm hoping to get one for under $200. The size has to be small because of my living situation. I have a Dillon 550B.

I'm looking at a stack-on. Does anybody have experience with stack-on setups?

Beat me to it. If I was starting from scratch that would be a candidate. It would likely need to be secured to a wall or something.

Another place to look would be thrift stores. Pick up an office desk for $30 or so.

        60" is too wide.

The thrift store is a good idea. I just need a platform stable enough to mount the press. I think I should look on craig's list as well.

I'd buy one 2' kitchen cabinet from HD. Either make a plywood top for it or buy the laminated kitchen counter they sell at HD as well. Screw it to the wall and call it a day. These cabinets can be had for as little as $90 and come with a nice drawer and shelves. They look the nicest, are the least expensive route to go, and are very very strong which is important.

This is slightly more elaborate but you get the idea.

I built mine for around $35. I went to hd and bought 4x4's for the legs and a thick ply wood for the top. Then bought all the scrap 2x4's they had and reinforced the plywood with it and made a shelf in the middle. Then screwed a 2x4 to the wall in the garage and screwed the bench to the 2x4 on the wall so it doesn't move.

Just depends if you want a little project or not....

I built mine from a kit called 2x4 basics. You can make it any size you want. You just need a saw.

I'll try and posts picture when I get to the shop, but what I did was buy a few 4x4s , 2x4s, and a really nice sheet of 5/8 finish plywood, and then went to the section where they have all the steel brackets "Simpson strong ties" , they have one that is basically for building benches using the above materials, uses the 4x4 for the legs, and then they have "troughs" I guess you could call them, that the 2x4 sit in to make the frame work, then throw the sheet of plywood down on top, screw that down, and attach to the wall.

The beauty is that you can create any size bench you need, and have a super stable and very solid bench for less that $100. Home depot will cut all the wood for you as well, as long as you have the dimensions in hand.

Also a really valid idea. I really do think you'll be happiest creating your own and configuring it as you please.
