Reloading Supplies - Thousand Oaks, CA - Help

OK - I was spoiled before I moved to CA. I only lived 20 minutes from Sinclair Intl so getting reloading supplies was a breeze.

Now that I'm living in Thousand Oaks I'd like to find someplace (within an hour or so drive) that I could buy components (bullets, primers, powder, etc.).

I'd rather drive a while than pay crazy shipping costs and hazardous material fees.

Does anyone know of someplace that might fit the bill?

Fort Courage Armory in Simi. If Tim doesn't have it he can get it. If you need #35 primers, 5010, H50BMG, etc. I can always find a source and I'm in TO.

+1 for Fort Courage Armory. Tim has some reloading stuff and can get you anything you need.

Is Fort Courage the place that's sort of tucked back in the corner of an outside shopping center? I think I might have stumbled upon it one day but they were closed.

Thank you very, very much for the quick replies.

Don't forget, I believe this Saturday Fort Courage Armory is having a 1year anniversary. Lots of food etc ... and I think I saw a posting that they are paying the tax for Saturday only.

It's too bad.....up until just a few years ago, the best place in the area was "The Reloading Center" and they were in Northridge....closer to you than to me!

Unfortunately, the owner got fed up and closed up shop to move out of state (although I don't think he had plans of opening up again....just wanted out of Cali)

I forgot about that. Well my wife wanted to make Saturday a "date day" and I'm cheap so, I know where I want to go for our "date". Now, how do I get Joe's Crab Shack to close this Saturday? If they're closed, just maybe, Fort Courage will be her second choice.

Stock up at the Ventura Gun Show.
I move slow but I make up for it by shooting poorly.

There's a gun shop in Camarillo that carries reloading supplies. Camarrillo Shooter's Supply, Ventura Blvd - visible from the Freeway. I think you would exit at Carmen, two lefts over the freeway and the shop is about a block east on Ventura. Small shop, but they're stocked pretty well. Nice folks too.

I almost forgot. I work in TO. A couple of other shooters work there that reload. Occasionally we do a group buy and split the shipping and hazmat fees. Let me know if you want to participate.

Angeles Shooting Ranges has a Reloading shop that IMO is like reloader's nirvana!

It's the best we've got now (and I'm greatful that it's there) but, it is only 10-20% of what the Reloading Center was. The Reloading Center was the best reloading store I've ever seen and that includes Sportsman's Whorehouse, Cabela's, etc.
