Need Load Data for Hornady Bullets

I just bought Hornady Bullets .224 55gr. SP. I las loaded Speer .224 55 gr. SP.. I've been looking for the load data for this bullete and cant seem to find any. Has anyone loaded this bullet. I using Hodgon Varget powder and Federal primers. I want to use the same Primers and Powder. I looking for what is the safe powder weight for the Hornady bullet.

    My Hornaday Book says 22.8gr start - 2800fps, 26.4gr max - 3200fps - COL 2.2".

I have found the Hornaday book very conservative compared to other sources and my experience in the field, but I have not loaded .223 so YMMV. Use start loads and work up using normal good reloading practices.

    Good luck, have fun.

You should also cross-reference the load data from the powder manufacture. That’s usually the first place I look.
