I know it's kind of a drive but the Turners here in Ventura County is having their Grand Opening on the 19th, you could pick up your caliber conversions there and hit up Island View Enterprise. Their having a Calguns special, $5 let's you shoot all day at their range! I'll definitely be trying out my loads that day

we shall see if I will be able to make it to Island View. I think im just going to buy my caliber conversion online. For 223 this is what Im planning

1. Tumble
2. Lube
3. Size/Decap on single stage
4. Trim
5. Tumble (to get lube off)
6. On Dillon Now- Universal Decapper/Primer (using this to get out any media that might be stuck)
7. Powder
8. Seat
9. Crimp

I'm going to see if I can't just make due with the Dillon, but I did see where the Single Stage comes in handy.

....and if you change your mind and decide to centre out of the LBC I'll pick up the range fee that day.

ill let you know when the time comes. I can say this the single stage is very very helpful when developing a load.

Ordered it Saturday night and came home to these two boxes

The Dillon RL 550B, wrapped in what I think is a Hefty trash bag

This will be my reloading bench until I get the time to plan and build one. I got this rolling cart for free driving by an alley one day. It had a pretty solid wood top already installed

Noice, i see a long night in your future. I ended up buying the 223 conversion kit with the deluxe caliber change kit. I decided why not spend the extra money and get it. Post up some pics when you have it all set up

FYI:
You want the strong mount as close to the edge as possible (it states in the manual)or you won't be able to "rap" the handle on the downstroke, if needed. This allows the powder in your powder bar to completely fill the case.

Good choice in press btw.

I won't lie about it, but I definitely missed that in the manual Even with the Strong Mount base set back 2.5" from the egde of the table, the powder bar is able to cycle properly.

Go figure, the huge pictures that I post up coupled with someone who has a sense of attention to detail would catch something like this! Thanks NiteQwill!

The cart is pretty stable. I used it to layout the cylinder heads, crankshaft, pistons, connecting rods, etc... when I rebuilt the engine in my mom's van.

I'm currently setting it up for 45acp. I pulled a rookie move and didn't separate the brass into lpp/spp but it's a learning process right

ouch, well hopefully you dont have too much to sort through. and you are correct sir. When I first started I was making too many rookie mistakes. Not sizing enough, not enough lube, doing things twice on mistake.
