    Wolf ammo 7.62x39 range friendly

    I hear people say that they shoot Wolf ammo at the ranges. which one do you buy that does not have steel in the bullet. i mainly shoot at Angeles.

    Been gone too long. It's been 15 to 20 years since i had to shelf my guns. Those early years sucked.
    I really miss the good old Pomona Gun Shows.

    There actually is a line of Wolf ammo that has a pure copper jacket instead of the bimetal one. You've got to look for the one that says, "123gr COPPER FMJ". Bring a magnet with you and put it up against the bullet to test it before purchase.

    Hornady Steel Match is also like this. Steel case, but no magnetic bullets.

        Yugo surplus. Biught 5 cases for that same reason. It is corrosive so you need to clean after each range sessions.
