Difference Between Light Handicap vs. Light Target?

    Difference Between Light Handicap vs. Light Target?

    I noticed on my boxes of shells one says Light Target and the other says Light Handicap. What are the The only difference I can find is the dram equivalent.

    light handicap is a faster load..probably about 1200 fps. full handicap loads will be at about 1300 fps with a 1-1/8 oz load I think. shooting handicap means you are standing farther back from the line so you need some oomph to catch up to your birds without having to lead the target excessively.

    light target is just that, slower and lighter recoil (maybe 1140-1150 fps).
