Husky Work Bench

As .358 Win. ammo is getting harder and harder to find, I finally decided to start reloading and recently purchased a Lee Classic Turret Kit, a friend sold me an extra set of dies he had, and he also gave me around 450 once-fired shells.

Now I'm looking for a work bench. I've got absolutely NO woodworking skills, and not a lot of loot, and I saw THIS work bench mentioned in a couple of other forums. I was wondering if anyone here had any experience and/or opinions about it. It looks like the perfect size for me, and the other guys said they were able to reload on it. I'm wondering if this caliber might be too big.

Sorry I have no experience with the bench, but with that being said...

My woodworking skills is very poor too, but I suggest you checking out the reloading bench thread in the forum. I built mine for $20ish only. It's a 2x2 bench. It really doesn't take any skills as long as you can cut 2x4s.

If you have a circular saw you can build a workbench for a lot cheaper than what home depot asks for that bench.

If you want to be really lazy, look for a 2x4 basics kit on Amazon. It makes your job a lot easier.

I'd just get on craigslist and hit some garage sales this weekend. You're bound to find something cheaper than $200...

Yeah Like ced said . CL is the way to go if you don't want to build one . Could also try goodwill type store . My work bench is a old fire proof door that I just screwed down to a couple of saw horses.

This bench by Costco gets my vote. All steel, everytyhing, including the pegboard. Plus, it's on locking wheels so you can move it around the garage. The wood top is actually butcherblock (vs. pressboard), so you can drill and mount without having to worry about any give or stress/sag in the press.

I was looking at one of those, too but it doesn't fit under the cabinets in my garage.
