placed my order on midwayusa. used the camo20 code and got my things for 20 bucks off

ended up not going with either of my options...

I ended up getting the Hornady Bench scale for 90 bucks. I figured the only thing I would use the Auto charge for is 308 and I only load about 20 rounds of 308 per range visit, so the extra 100 dollars wasn't really worth it for me, since I am on a strict reloading budget. I also got another Lee Perfect Powder Measure for my 223. My plan is to have one for 223, one for 9mm, one for 45acp, therefore I don't have to switch the charges each time I reload. I am going to label each hopper for each load. They are cheap so I figured why not.

I think I have got some good things and happy I didn't buy the pro 1000. I am going to try to save up for a better progressive press. I want to ultimately get the Dillon 650 and put a Dillon automatic case trimmer as one station. But I don't think that will be for a couple years.

    Thanks everyone for your input.

One more thing, i saved about 100 bucks for reloading components.

Save more and buy a dillon press
In the long run a dillon press will last forever and it is easy to crank out a few hundred rounds in an hour
Rule 1- ALL GUNS ARE ALWAYS LOADED

Rule 2 -NEVER LET THE MUZZLE COVER ANYTHING YOU ARE NOT PREPARED TO DESTROY (including your hands and legs)

Rule 3 -KEEP YOUR FINGER OFF THE TRIGGER UNTIL YOUR SIGHTS ARE ON THE TARGET

Rule 4 -BE SURE OF YOUR TARGET AND WHAT IS BEYOND IT

This is a better option, especially for a XL 650...

Not old enough to buy alcohol yet and I'll have to pass on the free take home gifts you get with hookers

Save your money, get a Dillon. You can crank out 223 like crazy even with a 550 and their customer service is second to none. The people who have and use the Lee typically love it and think its the greatest thing ever but in my experience, it is not a machine of high quality. Too many plastic bits and springs.
