    Need some help

Was depriming some 44 mag cases tonight and i didn't see a 9mm case hiding in the 44 mag case . I cranked the case through and now my die is screwed up. The depriming pin no longer protrudes from the die and is effectively worthless. Is this fixable or should I just go buy another one? Its a lee die, if that makes any difference.

    Thanks!

Send it back to Lee and they'll replace it.

I'm fairly new to reloading, but if your die has a nut on the top of it, you should be able to loosen the nut and push the decapping pin back down. The die is made so if something like that happens, the decapping pin won't actually break.

It's hard to explain just search it on YouTube, basically lee dies have some sort of mechanism that pushes the decapping pin up if something is straining it. You have to get 2 wrenches, one to hold the die and one to unscrew the nut, when loose the decapping pin will fall down, just push it back up until it is flush with the top of the nut you had to unscrew

Post a couple pictures of your die - that might help.
