    Sierra 223 52gr SMK Help

    Ok.. So I'm a cheapskate.... my latest Sierra manual dates back to 1998
    (4th edition) I need info for Varget and a 223 52gr SMK. low and high charges w/velocities .

    Varget - 52gr smk - 25.1 gr @ 2700 fps to 27.5 gr @ 3000 fps. 2.250 col

    5th edition

    Do you need me to shoot them for you too?

      Varget max load 28.0gr.

          I've used the 52 smk for reduced 100 yard HP matches. They're the cat's meow for that. I don't think I could have got more Xs if I had walked out and poked holes in the target with a pencil.

          They should do pretty well in the sheltered 200 yard range at Richmond, I would think.
