I have a Hornady LnL, alot depends on your budget as stated by CalTeacher. Caliber comes into affect a bit, but only for supplies IMO.

There is only one type of progressive press in my opinion and they are blue and the best support in the industry. Those are dillon's anything else is second best

              Budget? Number of calibers?
E.g. If your budget is $500 and load 3 calibers we'll direct you to a Lee.

If all you load is pistol and don't want to blow the bank, then a Lee Pro 1000 or a Dillon SDB will work great. If you have a larger budget and need to do rifle as well, the the best option would be the workhorse Dillon 550.

Hornady LnL AP user here. Hornady's customer service has been superb. They took care of every issue that I've called them for. Didn't cost me a penny. So far I've been happy. Although my 2nd press will be a Dillon just to have both.

                          Budget???

I have a RCBS Pro 2000 Auto Index, I love it, I use it for everything right now, but I may just dedicate it to pistol reloading.

Next press I want all the bells and whistles, and will probably end up with a Dillon 1050 for bulk .223

How much are you planning to reload? If you are only going to do a couple hundred a month then I would skip the progressive and go with the LEE Classic turret press. You can knock out a box in under 15 minutes and changing calibers cost $10.00 plus dies or nothing but dies if you use lock rings on your dies.

The 1050 is a commercial machine
I don't think they have the same warranty?

Keep in mind calipers changes re cheaper with hornady
