Thanks Everyone, I will give the Wolf/Tula a shot and see how it goes.

Cowboy T: To give you more information about what I use for AR /.223 rounds right now is H335 powder. I understand it likes magnum primers from what I read, and I also understand the CCI #41 is pretty much a magnum primer. Please correct me if I am wrong.

I also have 1lbs of BL-C2 which I have not opened yet. I was thinking of using it for .223, but I might just stick to H335 for now and use the BL-C2 for my .308 ammo.

I have used a primer or two of small rifle (non #41) in my 9mm reloads, and have also tried small pistol primers in rifle reloads both without issue, but I did notice that over the chrono some had a 75-100 FPS jump, and I believe it was the small rifle primer in the 9mm cartridges. I didn't notice a difference in small pistol primers in 5.56mm reloads.

I have only used CCI #41 & 400 in my AR. Winchester, CCI, and Federal in my 9mm reloads (unsure of part number). The Federal primers do not flip shiney-side-down like CCI and Winchester do and should in the ribbed primer flip tray, and I will not buy them again.

I have never tried Tula, or Wolf, as my last purchase of 5k of CCI #41, and 5k of Winchester WSP were $119+tax for each case, and that is pretty durn'd good!

Out of maybe 4000 rounds I have only had a single failure to fire with only one CCI small rifle primer... ding and no go, re-ding, and no go.

H335 will do fine with normal rifle primers, but magnums don't hurt one bit (with proper work-up, of course). Same goes for BL-C(2). The WC844 and WC846, which are basically military H335 and BL-C(2), respectively, also do fine with regular rifle primers.
