Load X, Santa Rosa

So I was starting to get excited because I was turned on to this local ammo loader who sells bulk ammo and does reloads. Load X in Santa Rosa CA.

When I went down there, they were closed. So today I called just to hear there message machine and hear the times. The owner Steve actually answered the phone so I asked him what he had in the way of 10mm and he only had one load @ $30 for 50 rounds. Not bad right. So then I begin to ask him a question about shipping costs because I saw a good deal on Georgia Arms but ..... before I could finish, he cuts me off and says "Then you should just order from them sir...have a nice day" and hangs up on me.

Here I was, ready to buy a lot of bulk ammo from him and the next thing I know he is cutting me off and telling me to spend my money somewhere else. Great business. Now I am forced to pay shipping if I want to get Bulk Ammo.

Does anyone know other ammo makers in CA that I can avoid paying shipping with?

Underwood ammo.... $25-30 for most 10mm and shipping was like $12 for 300rds.

EDIT: woah just checked the site and their shipping prices have really increased. Buy a press like I did and you'll make good rds for 17 cents

he goes to vallejo and cow palace just will call it there but yeah he is a abrasive guy.

To be honest the prices arent very impressive, cant believe the guy had such a bad attitude. I just bought a few boxes of NEW Remington 10mm at the range for $30 each

If these are reloads they need to re-evaluate their pricing. Serges reloads are only $17.75 per 50, and BVAC sells theirs for $18.60. Both of which ship so you might want to check them out unless your absolutley adverse to paying shipping. It couldnt be much more than like $30 per 1000 rounds

he makes his stuff as cheap as he can while maintaining excellent quality

he cant compete with most of the bulk ammo from the big 3 (rem,win,fed)

but he often has hard to get stuff

it aint cheap but its there when you need it
