    Chargemaster vs LnL Auto Dispense

I'm trying to determine which of these is the better scale. Is the Chargemaster worth the extra $60 or so (after rebate) or is the Hornady one just as good? I'm going to mainly be using it for rifle powders such as Varget, R15, etc. Anyone with any experience with both of these units care to chime in? I could use the help.

I plan on buying the Chargemaster this weekend, but only because everyone I know has RCBS. I'm also interested in what others have to say.

I hear the LnL is just a good and it does the job. I have the Chargemaster and it works great, and here's a little tip as to why I got it.

Go with the Chargemaster. My friend has the LnL and it will not throw consistent charges. He has tried calling them, cleaning it with Windex, etc and is back to using his beam scale.

          I have the LNL...

They work pretty good once you adjust the trickle start time, trickle speed, and trickle power to different powders. I've been using it for almost 2 years now!

PS. I did noticed something weird from the last time I used it. After leaving Power Pistol powder in the LNL for a few weeks the powder seems to eat into and embedded itself to the plastic. This makes clean very difficult! Anyone have the same issues?

I always remove my powder from the hoppers for this very reason. Some hopper brands (obviously dependent on the plastic chosen by the manufacturer) seem to be impervious to powder, many get attacked by the powder.

Thanks for all the input. I'm still not sure which one I want to go with.

My Chargemaster is also susceptible to corrosion from powder being left in the hopper. Other than that, I'm very happy with it.

I went ahead and got the chargemaster. Hopefully it will be here next week and we will see how it goes. I really don't think I could go wrong with either one but the RCBS rebate makes it really competitive and it seems to have better reviews. I guess we will see.
