I am going to load some 45 LC and shoot it in my Ruger OA with a conversion cylinder. I plan on using .458 190 gr. bullets cast for the Ruger. Also, I am going to use Trail Boss powder. This will be a cowboy load. I have been reading about bullet lubes and have read a couple of accounts of the bullet lube ruining the powder charge in long term storage situations. Was wondering if a Wonder Wad between the powder charge and bullet would help. Also would it present any safety problems used with the Trail Boss. I know it's ok with black powder loads. Better safe than sorry. Any help is appreciated.
