I was in Walmart a few hours ago in Hemet. And saw an ammo can on the shelf. 420 rds of federal xm-855lc ac1 penetrator ammo. The ones on stripper clips. $169. He said the now that the have the new set up for the ammo cage. They will be carrying them regularly but they sell fast. All lake city brass green tip.

that stuff from palmetto was 139$ plus 12$ ship last year beginning of this year. if you all learn to cool down and not buy up ammo that goes up to 450$ for 1000 rds back to 350$ it will come back down again just like 4 years ago.

Or even better, start reloading your own. You can make your own for between 8 and 20 cents per round, depending primarily on your choice of bullet. You also then don't ever have to wonder if Wally World or elsewhere has ammo in stock anymore.

Even though I reload, I'm going to check the Walmart close to my house. Several months ago they started selling ammo and that Walmart has been opened for several years now.

I used to pay $144 shipped from Cabelas when they were on sale. But prices have gone since.

Gotta get your brass from somewhere. Although I don't reload.223 I save it all and plan to. I reload 45 and 9 now. Lc brass I've heard is good stuff.

I just ordered 3000 M193 projectiles, so I am going to hold off on a second can of these... off to the press tonight to get some of these through the chrono this weekend.

I still have like 900 M855 bullets, so I am going to load up some NATO velocities...
