Does any reloading data exist for 7.62x54R using .311 dia bullets?

    My mosin bore slugged at .311, so I bought... .311 bullets! Osnaps, I could probably get away with .308's, but why? lol

    With that said, I used the standard data, and backed down a ways.

      The bullet is Hornady #3120 and is a corloc I think. It is listed for the 303 brit. Just a nice spire point hunting round.

        Yup, slug first load second. Mines coming in at .312 so I load .312. My cast bullets are .314 so I leave it at that. I've shot .311 with it and I don't see much difference at 50 yards. Haven't tried 100+ yet.

          If the OP wants load data, both Lyman's 49th and Lee's book have that data. For your 0.3125" bore, you might want to get some 0.3135" or 0.314" bullets if you're talking about cast. Jacketed, go for 0.313".

          BTW, you've got a couple of reloading manuals, right?
