MODS: Should there be a sticky on 'getting started with reloading'?

MODS: Should there be a sticky on 'getting started with reloading'?

I see this topic come up alot in here.
"War is a racket. It always has been. It is possibly the oldest, easily the most profitable, surely the most vicious. It is the only one international in scope. It is the only one in which the profits are reckoned in dollars and the losses in lives. Only a small 'inside' group knows what it is about. It is conducted for the benefit of the very few, at the expense of the very many. Out of war a few people make huge fortunes."

I'm not worthy of making the call since I do not reload but was searching through all the reload posts (I am thinking about reloading now with ammo prices going crazy) and noticed it has been posted many, many times by many people.

Can someone help us please! It would save everyone lots of Dupes and so forth...

No need for a sticky when you have a whole forum.

I already brought up this issue several months ago:

Too many threads started about how to get started reloading every other day and people continue to respond with info to them instead of redirecting the OPs to a previous thread.

ocabj, "NRA Certified Instructor - Rifle and Metallic Cartridge Reloading":

YOU should pick one (or write one), and then we can try to get a MOD to stick it up!!

you don't even have to write one up, just do a bunch of cutting and pasting from existing thread if you want...it is still work, maybe just not as much.

Maybe there is a rec.guns FAQ as well?
If it was a snake, it would have bit me.

My theory is you reloading guys just love to keep TALKING about how to get the rest of us into reloading and don't actually WANT a sticky...

I think there should be a sticky so people don't have to dig through to find a thread to direct a beginner to.

Happy to recommend stickying a thread, if someone wants to collate all the "how to get started" info.

I do reload, so I'd be happy to browse through a collated post with my meager knowledge just to make sure we aren't stickying a "how to kill yourself" instruction set.
