30 carbine ammo and reloading with H4895

Is this possible to use H4895 for .30 carbine loads? I was about ready to reload using IMR4227 and found a bottle of unfinished H4895 and thought I could use it. Looked on the internet for H4895 data, hard to find anything.

Not the right powder to use, I would stick to proven powders such as H110 or 2400. Save the 4895 for rifle cartridges such as .308, .30-06 or even .223

Yeah, the 4895 I have was for my M1 Garand reloading. I got lazy and forgot I had it since I started buying bulk 30-06. Instead, to be in the safe side, I used the IMR4227. Thanks for the tip.

you can use that 4895 for any of the other calibers of the guns you have listed, works great in 7.62x54 as well
