Here is a pic of my first rifle reload. The bullet is a pulled 150gr roundnose. As you can see I seated it to the cannelure, but my OAL is really short. I trimmed the brass to 1.358.
According to Saami specs(http://www.saami.org/pubresources/cc...20Blackout.pdf) the max OAL is 2.260 and min is 1.780.
My question is: Are the measurements ok, or too short? Or must I seat them past the cannelure to increase the OAL? I cant find anything in the dillon or lyman book that says you can seat past the cannelure. My only concern is that when searching dozens of pages on 300blktalk, nobody else is loading this short... Thanks
