    s&s castings

    Getting ready for an order from s&s. Anyone has a favorite cast in the 45acp, 9mm , 38spc, 9mm and 10mm ?

I load their 125gr RN in 9mm and 200gr SWC in .45 ACP. Most of my 10mm loads are a little hot for a plain base bullet.

      Thanks Bill,

What vendor do you use for bullets to shoot 45acp/10mm out of Glocks? Did you ever try the 230 rn from s&s ?

I run the 200 SWC from SNS through my G21SF. I have been shooting up some X-treme 200gr SWC's in my G21SF as they won't feed reliably in my 1911 range gun. When I am done with the X-treme plated SWC's, I will be back to the SNS 200gr LSWC, can't be beat. I haven't loaded a lead 230gr RN in quite a while. I think SNS is great for these as well.

I have been developing some .45 Super loads for my G21SF and have been using Precision Delta 230gr FMJ RN as my mules. When I get where I want velocity wise I will switch to 230gr XTP's as SD rounds.

On my 10mm/40 I generally use PD 180gr FMJ FP (which is a round nose flat point profile), for daily plinking and load development. I have used Hornaday 180gr HAP's when I really want to bare down on consistency and I load 180 XTP's for SD.

I bought some Bear Tooth 200gr FNGC that I plan to fool around with for my G20SF and G29SF. These get great reviews on the 10mm threads.
