    Problem with reloading 270wsm

I'm a first time reloader using a Hornady LNL. Recently, I reload a 270wsm and encounter a problem. The shoulder of the brass is warped/messed up each time I seat the bullet. I've try adjusting the seating die but still encounter the same problem. See picture below.

    Here's what I did:
    1) Lubed/trim the brass
    2) Resize (don't need to remove primer since it's a new brass)
    3) Hand measured the powder
    4) Seat the bullet

    Dies: Hornady Series I 270wsm
    Bullet: Hornady 130grain GR SP
    Powder: 66 grain of H4831
    Brass: New unprimed Winchester

Any help to resolve or why this is occurring? Thanks!

You may have your seating die adjusted too close to the shell holder and you are crimping while seating the bullet. You need to leave a gap of about the thickness of 2 pennies. Also, you need to chamfer the inside of the case necks and seat the bullet slowly.

Per your order, you trim after resizing....
