    Metal bench for Reloading ?

My reloading equipment will be here this week and im starting to get things ready for it. I have two options that i'm considering, One is the work bench in the garage that has plenty of room but is stationary and the other is a small 2 1/2 x 2 ft rolling mettal bench that has rubber lock wheels and is very strong but i'm worried about static electricity and a possable BOOM !

I really like the idea of being able to move it where ever i want to reload but would there be a problem with it being metal ?

    Your thoughts please.

if you worry about statics, perhaps you can use rubber mat under it?

which press did you buy for your reloading (if you don't mind me asking). I am looking into buying one this week myself.

I think that if you ran a grounding strap to the floor, you'd be good to go. My opinion of course as I'm no expert, but that's what we do with metal welding tables.

Personally if it were me, I wouldn't worry about it. I never thought of myself as the carefree type, but maybe I am!

I would mount it to the stationary table, more sturdy and secure.

I have two metal tables I made for my 5 presses. One of them I have used since the mid 1970's with no problem. I do not have wheels on them but a flat plate curved up on the ends on each leg. They are a 3 legged design and work well. They are portable and I sometimes move them from one room to another when I reload.
