Anyone try their .45 ACP reloads? How is it?

I have 1k of their 9mm reloads. They were not accurate out of my glocks. 1 out of every 3-4 rounds would tumble and go 4-6 inches from the point of aim at 10 yrds. The same ammo shoots OK out of my CZs and Sigs. My guess is that the rifling in Glock barrels are not as keep as the other makes, and are not grabbing the projectile correctly to impart the necessary spin.

I use the Miwall reloads and have never experienced a problem with them. As far as accuracy issues-most of my shooting is rapid fire double and tripple tap. Accuracy will suffer slightly as speed is increased. I have found that center of mass hits are not affected by Miwall reloads. Recoil is about normal in the .45, but weak in the .40 S&W. This matters to some as far as training as you fight. In reality I don't think that recoil matters that much in a true fight situation as adrenaline seems to change perception. Any hunter will tell you that firing a firearm at the range will be loud, but fire the same round at a game animal and you don't really hear it as loud due to adrenaline.

I once bought their 45ACP reload (230gr. FMJ, 250 rounds can), and it came with one "out of spec" round. Completely out of size and did not chamber at all with my Colt Comp Commander. So that's it. I don't know if its just me, but one out of 250 is pretty high failure rate and not what I can accept.

By the way, I don't like their "New" bulk ammo ether. On 44Magnum with my S&W M29-2, their copper jacket always breaks off at the cylinder gap, makes me to stop shooting and cleaning for each 12-18 rounds. Never happened with other brand ammo or my own reload.

Note: I still like their great selection of retail ammo and price, and in fact I buy many from them. So please don't take me wrong.

I had some of their 38 Special reloads and at an IDPA classifer with my model 66, 3 rounds in the 1st load in the cylinder did not go off. I had some Remington in my bag and was able to shoot those with no problems.
I just do not trust Miwall. Have seen other issues with their ammo that would take too long to write about.
I will still by ammo from them just not their own branded ammo.

I shot some through my USP full size. No FTF, but it was DIRTY ammo. Lots of residue.

I've bought Miwall .45 late last year @ the CM gunshow. still using it for pratical pistol. works great! haven't found a problem yet. burns like factory loads so it dosen't blacken your gun as much at the end.

Only batch I ever bought from them had a primer loaded in backwards. It was sitting on top of the batch, too, primer up. After that first impression, the ammo worked just fine, wasn't all that dirty either. Still, I would inspect each round, same as my own reloads or other factory ammo.

I have purchased 2 cases from them. Yet to have one not go bang but wolf is noticeably more accurate.
