Ammo question

Hey I had a question about lead core ammo. I use the standard American Eagle black box ammo ( 55grn, lead core, full copper jacketed boat-tail bullet, brass case, and non-corrosive boxer primer.)

Am I correct in assuming these don't leave any lead fouling in the barrel since the core would only be exposed after making contact with a barrier?

No lead fouling, but there is copper fouling to deal with.
