    380 auto C.O.L., help

Okay having trouble with bullets holding crimp, if I push hard the bullet falls back into case! I'm using x-treme 100 grn FP, keep getting set back. The C.O.L is .980. It seem that the bullet needs to be seated deeper on the case.

I load to .980" and have never had a problem. Is your sizing die turned down far enough?

I just noticed that you said flat point. I load my round nose to .980", so maybe FP require slightly shorter.

Also is your sizing die screwed all the way down to the shell plate?
