Miwall Father's Day sale any good?

Father's Day is this Sunday, and Miwall's annual Father's Day weekend sale is also this weekend.

Has anyone gone in the past? Is it worth it? Do they run out of stock quickly? I.e., do I need to go early in the morning if I am looking for certain ammo? If I am able to go on Sunday, will they still have good stuff?

This year, they are having it at "The Range", so their inventory sounds like it might be limited.

I went two or three years ago, and it was good. XM193 was $260/1,000. Wolf 7.62*39 was $150/1,000. Primers were $100/5,000.
It wasn't an election year, so things are probably different now. Show up early to get a number. It was 25 people in at a time.

Bring a big hand-truck if you go. Cases of ammo are heavy.

Wear a big had and bring something to drink/read/ipod.

I went a couple of years ago and the line was down the street. Miwall had plenty of people, plenty of merchandise, and the line was probably the most civil I've ever been in. That being said it took me a while to get in then quite a while to get out (which allowed me to pick up boxes of Hornady Critical Defense in all different sorts of calibers at - I think - half price.

I'm thinking of Heat of the Day - Saturday for my trip. I'm getting low on primers and need another 10,000 or so to go along with a couple thousand 40 cal bullets.

So far, it sounds like it's worth going.

It's basically their show prices at their warehouse with some other stuff in stock as well. Worth going to if you're in the area.

That is a dang good idea. I am really hoping to go Saturday morning. It will be my first time. I only want a case of 9mm. My daughter has a very little red wagon, but I think it might be too small. I'm thinking I will take my Denio's cart, though. Looks like it might hold 100 pounds.

Good sale. Bring a book though...lots of waiting. But worth it.
