cheapest .223/5.56 nato ammo as of now

Hi Guys, for all you .223 / 5.56 nato shooters, this is the cheapest I could find on the net. $343.47 per 1000. About 29.00 shipping to SJ.

    Aguila Mil Spec 223 - 55grFMJ

    $299.99 + $29.90 shipping = $329.89

This is still an option if you just want cheap $5.20 / box... Never used this stuff before but I ordered some and some PMC from PSA for $6.50 ish per box.

I've been buying the American Eagle AR223 for $6.97 whenever Walmart has it in stock.

AIM has wolf for 4.39 a box in stock right now. I usually just get Tula from walmart but mine hardly ever gets any in stock.

(Yeah... Walmart being out of everything, all the time, is why I decided to reload. FYI: you can press better ammo, AND for less than Tula, OR Wolf, but you have the press cost initially.)

Tula does not have enough punch to cycle my AR reliably, so I am not sure this would be classified as NATO, as I don't recall it having a NATO head-stamp... I could be wrong.

*Bear cycled better than the Tula, but I don't think Wolf is NATO head-stamped either.

If you don't care about NATO head-stamp, and they are in stock... the Federal 100pk/$39(.99?) at Walmart have been VERY reliable for me, and at a pretty good price at about $0.40 each this way. (3 cents each over the OP, AND local w/ no shipping wait OR weight. )

The AE are GREAT too, and they are like 2ish cents cheaper each than the OP, but MY local Walmarts never carried them(, or always sold out).

why i started reloading 4 years ago, you will probably see 1k of PMC hit 450-500$ again like 4 years ago.
