Need load data for .45 auto

Hi All,
I was given a pound of Win 296 & some cast 250gr bullets. I was thinking about using them in .45 auto reloads. I've checked all my books but no listing for this powder & bullet weight in 45 auto.
Does anyone have or know of any loading data for this? Would appreciate it if you do.

296 is more of a magnun powder
the 250gr sound like 45 colt bullets not the ACP type

Big John is correct.

The 45 ACP uses a fast powder and 296 is one of the slowest powders made for pistols.

[What Just Happened?]

I think most people use Win 231 for handgun loads. And its usually 180 grains to 230 grains for a .45 ACP bullet.

Buy a Ruger in 45 colt to use up those bullets and powder.
