    Need motorized case trimmer

I like how the Redding 2400 rotates the shell to keep the mouth evenly cut, but I am getting tired of cranking a manual trimmer. Any suggestions on a trimmer that's as accurate as the Redding but 10x faster?

    Thanks in advance.

Little Crow Gunworks developed the World's Finest Trimmer as a precision tool that will last a lifetime. One of the unique features is that the WFT uses a source of power that most reloaders already own.

I use the WFT. Works awesome, usually a .001-.003" tolerance. Then I use a possum hollow with wilson debur/chamfer tool to finish off prepping.

The fate of the wounded rest in the hands of the ones who apply the first dressing.

Here's my method. You can pick up a small benchtop drill press for a fair price and go to town.

Cheapest would be possum hollow, they are damn fine trimmers. Worlds finest trimmer is excellent as well, Giraud is ridiculously expensive but its a very sweet machine.

If you have a progressive you could get the Dillon press mounted trimmer, depends on how much you want to spend.

I have possum hollow trimmers for most of my calibers, cant go wrong

Not sure if u can take the handle off but if can try hooking a cordless drill up to the redding. I did this on my Forster and works great.

It's locking the bullet in that slows me down on the Redding. The Hornady looks to be faster, but the videos show about .005" variance. The Redding is +/- 0, while the WFT appears to be +/- .01 and wicked fast.

This is what I was going to suggest. Plus, with the forster anyway, you can get cutting heads that trim/chamfer/deburr all at the same time

the WTF is pretty quick, I chuck it in a table top drill press and go to town, I can do about 40 a minute but you have to clean gunk out frequently otherwise it throws off your trim length.

Do you clean it out with compressed air?
