I've had one for over 4 years, still sealed in the box and never touched it. I heard it gets the job done. For shotgun, I have a old Ponsness/Warren Duo-matic

I've purchased on that's used three years ago and still use it. it does the job. At times crimping can be so-so. I've loaded birdshots and buckshots with it. With buckshot you have to drop it individually though.

I have been using one for a few months now, it works good, but i am a beginner when it comes to reloading. I'm casting and loading 1oz lee slugs.

I heard you need to pick up a shotshell resizer if you have a pump or semi-auto, is that true?

            It comes with a resizer.
You can speed things up by batch processing the hulls in advance (depriming/sizing and priming).

The Lee loader is good especially if you hunt or want to load a few boxes of buckshot, slugs or specialty loads with a minimal outlay of $$$.

It gets real old if you shoot trap/skeet/clays on a regular basis and are trying to save money. Note that you have to take all the powder and shot out each time you change bushings which is no problem once you develop a load.

For single stage presses, a Mec 600jr is better (yes it's worth it) and you can find them used for the same price as the LLA ($50 bucks or so). Do a search over the past year on the classified section here for what they've been going for. Just be patient and wait or put out a "wanted" ad, you'll probably find someone who has one sitting around gathering dust who will respond.
