I need to get a comparator, still learning. As far as crimping I have a few semi autos designed around federal gold, I don't believe those are crimped. Have shot thousands of rounds, no issues unless there was a jam (buddy induced it, brass over brass and he shove the charging handle forward). I haven't had that in over a year.
