45 auto reloads KEYHOLEING

Shot my test rounds today and they are KEYHOLEING! What went wrong? Using xtreme 230 grn ball with, 4.6 grns of tire group.

I have done a lot with that exact load. When I first started loading it, I played with 4.5-4.7gr and have used the Lee FCD all the way down to .468. To the point when I have pulled the bullet to see it's been pinched. These were the early days and have settle on .470 crimp.

However, I have never experienced keyholing with any of these loads.

Okay guys retested the rounds with the Crimp and some without! No KEYHOLEING with either rounds! I believe it was the paper target after all.

btw....when I first started using Titegroup, I would on another forum consistently refer to it as TitGroup....until a women poster caught it and finally informed me about it.

its the crapy paper NO way they would orintent all the same way they are NOT keyholing as others have said is target paper
