Used thousands without a problem. SR and SP have been flawless.

I find them to be very good primers. So far I have gone through about 12K of LP and 3K of SP. I have only experienced one dud and found one missing an anvil. They do fit a little more snug than other brand of primers. Just like CCI primers did. I dont find this to be a problem though. Bought all mine from Powder Valley and gun shows.....

I think Wolf primers are no longer available.. as Wolf.. they are available as Tula, which rumor has it, they are the same primer.. different packaging.

And slightly more expensive. I would exclusively use wolf primers if they were widely available, when they arent i settle for Tula

Everytime I go into a shop I ask if they have them. Have been wanting to try some for a while. Are they hard or soft? Would they be hard enough to use in a garand.

Both the Wolf and Tulammo primers are exactly the same. It's just a branding change. The primers are made in a big factory in Murom, Russia.

And yes, they work just fine, by either name. Just ever-so-slightly more snug, like Southpaw45 said, but not enough to cause any problems.

              Go for it.

I used them for SP and SR and both worked perfectly fine. I didn't use them for any match rounds, but just for good ole plinking rounds and always went bang.

It's one of three primers I use. No issues and they were a fantastic deal back when Winchester was scarce.

Before purchasing Wolf primers by the thousands in various styles, I did a lot of research. They did seem to have one bad batch years ago but stepped up and replaced them They have a harder cup then most primers according to just about all reports. Other then the few folks with the bad batch, the bulk of complaints came from folks that had massaged their weapons and were getting light strikes on hard primers. I've used 'em in ARs big and small, and revolvers and unmolested pistols without issues other then my mistakes with my first-ever batch of reloads. (Didn't seat them hard enough and got some FTF that went bang on 2nd try, learned, and no issues since.)

Oh, as a Cold War warrior, every now and then I giggle a bit when I think about the Russians supplying my reloading needs.
