    Reloading -can I see our machine in action?

    Morning y'all,

    I recently decided to start reloading. I think it was last Sunday after paying $50+ for 100 rounds of reloaded, not even new, ammo.

    I have all the bits needed to make the finished product now; I'm more than sharp enough to sort all this out myself but its always more fun to do it with someone else who is wiser and more experienced.

    While I'm waiting for my gear at arrive does anyone have some time/patience to guide me along in the process of reloading ammo on your machine?

    I bought the lee loaders in 9 and .38,.357.. @ $27 a caliber..

    I decided to stick with 'inexpensive' until I see some machines in action; then I'll make a decision to drop 500-1000 on a progressive/turret press.

    Right now I shoot to be proficient; after I get going with this I'd like to shoot competitively.

    It might help if you let folks know where you are located. Also youtube has many great videos on reloading. Cowboy T also has many great videos. I would offer but after moving I have not yet set up my new bench.

      This was my old bench. Below is my new one.

        Not that im paranoid or anything but im not sure how comfortable I would be bring someone to my house just to show a machine working.....
        Tons of video online. THis is how I have learned how to reload.. Or shold I say learning..
        I just started myself ond only have a few hundred rounds of 9mm under my belt.

        Its not that hard...well pistol anyway... rifle gets more complicated so im waiting a bit till I get more info before I start rifle.

            I prefer to load standing up. So I keep the desk area clean to work on.

            I recently added a single stage to the left of the 550b.

              @500cc:

              Have a look at the Ultimate Reloaders YouTube page for videos of just about any press and reloading step in operation. http://www.youtube.com/user/gavintoobe?feature=watch These videos highlight many different pieces of equipment and how they are set up and used. From the less expensive (but still good) Lee stuff to the more expensive Dillon products.

                Chris where did you get the adapter plate for mounting the Rock Chucker onto the strong mount? I had an aluminum plate made that does it but I'd rather get something off the shelf next time I add another press.

                  I made it out of aluminum. Here is the thread. I posted about how I made it.
