It appears to be identical to the Civilian Marksmanship Program Creedmoor Sports 30-06 ammunition. The ammo uses Lapua brass and Berger bullets. It appears to be "Garand safe".

If it is a contract over run of the Creedmoor Sports ammo then it compares.very favorably accuracy wise to the Hornady 30.06 match ammo. Plus at $1.10/rd, it is cheaper than empty 30.06 Lapua brass.

Noticed that, too, and I have some on the way. Good thing, too, because Midway just ran out of it. What an incredible deal, just for the brass alone, let alone the Berger OTM bullet.

Yep, its gone for now. They have run out and been restocked though several times. I got both the 167gr and the 150 gr versions.

This was a 100y target that I shot a few years ago through one of my Garands with the CMP Creedmoor 167 gr ammo...

Yep, it's the same stuff. So, when it comes back in stock at a similar price, good idea to stock up on it. This is some really nice ammo.

Some folks like to say the .30-06 is "dead" or "obsolete" just because ShinyNewCartridge came out recently. It's certainly not dead, and I seriously doubt, heh heh, that the game animals it continues to harvest would call it "obsolete".
