I was searching for a good lead bullet I could try in my .44 that I didn't have to buy in quantities of 500. I settled on Meisters 240 bbswc. Over 6.3 grains of Bullseye, that combo is tough to beat in my gun. I was using an older (obviously) .44 mag Vaquero. That's fixed sights, and I was making that 300 yard steel target REALLY nervous. Of course, I did have to hold up the entire front sight in the groove, and you could have read the first chapter of Casino Royale between the bang and the impact.
