Most efficient way to pick up brass from ground

I tried picking up brass from the dirt last week and it felt like going on an easter egg hunt in the dirt. It took a long time to get half of my brass out and by that time I had given up exhausted. I have seen some guys bring some kind of brass picker similar to this one http://www.uniquetek.com/site/696296/product/T1310

    Anyone has experience with these?

What would you recommend for a time efficient way to gather spent brass?

Brass wizard works well for low volume on smooth surface.
For large volume, a rake and a slotted metal dust pan.

Easiest way is to not drop it, ie a brass catcher.

ive been thinking about buying a huge tarp from harbor freight, laying it out, and when were done, have a couple people pick it up and pour the brass into a 5 gallon bucket.

Rake and a dustpan. Then put into a bucket and sort later.

I use one of the Brass Wizards. Works well on dirt and hard surfaces, fairly well on sandy soil and not so well on gravel. Only advice I have is, get the "rimfire" sized unit. It says it will pick up rimfire, and it sort of does. The next larger one, has a hard time holding onto 9mm/38 super sized cases. They work well enough that our club bought several to leave in the bays for members to use.

Nut Wizard® tools are designed to pick up nuts, fruits, balls, and brass casings with little to no bending over. Made in the U.S.A.

Works pretty well on all surfaces. Not a recommendation just what I use.

I always found that small children (and now grandchildren) are most efficient. I recall my daughter, then about five, calling back to the line and asking me "Dad, you shooting Lake City 77 or 78?"
My son was pulling target at ten, and brass-scrounging at five or so...now his daughter is our brass magnet.

I don't necessarily recommend it, but the last time I went I used a Shop-Vac I had in the bed of my truck. lol Oddly enough, it worked good and didn't pull up a lot of dirt.

When not being completely lazy, I just use a cheap tarp from Walmart. When done shooting we just funnel it into a paper bag or box.

Also noticed this nut catcher idea on YouTube. NO idea how well it works in grass, etc.
