    What is the chance

    I am shooting a 625 .45 S&W for the first time at my local club and I am being scored as Major. What are the chances of one that shoots a .38 or .38 Super S&W making major? I have watch them shoot and seems to be minor to me. I gots to know......

          Did they chrono your load or just say that .45 is major?
          A PF of 175 (old IPSC) was hard to meet with .38 Super.
          Current PF of 165 is fairly easy.

              Were you shooting factory or reloaded ammo. 230gr factory ammo should easily make major. All you need is 718fps
              Some guys like their powder like their women, hot, cheap, dirty, that would be TiteGroup. -CocoBolo
