    CFE-223

I was thinking of buying a pound of CFE-223 to try out in my 223 bolt action rifle.

Any one use it. Give me the goodf, the bad, and the ugly on it.

    Take care

It works good in 6.5 TCU with 140's and 142's. A friends F class gun in .223 produces one hole groups. Dont know his load. I dont think you'll be unhappy with it.

I've tried it in a number of cartridges and found that it does help keep copper fouling down in some cartridges but in others it leaves a heavy black soot. In my 375 H&H I call it Carbon Fouling Extreme.

It is very versitile and it gives some top velocities in a variety of cartridges. It works great in my 6mm ARCs, 243s and heavy bullet 223 loads.

I use it in several calibers, I like it a lot, it is basically BL-C2, (with the copper eliminator), I do find it helps with the copper filing, and it meters like water, so you're using a progressive loading press, you will find them to be very constant loads, .223, 6.5 Grendel, and .308 are 1/4" groups. Buy 1lb, you will most likely going to buy 8lb's the next time around!
