Mystery Primers - anyone know what they are?

Got these primers from my neighbor and was curious if anyone knows their origin?

Those are APS primer strips. You can Google them, but the primers themselves are just normal primers.

According to a Cast bullets post, the color codes for the APS strips break down as follows:
      • White: Large and small pistol primers.
      • Red: Large and small magnum pistol primers.
      • Yellow: Large and small rifle primers.
      • Blue: Large and small magnum rifle primers.
      • Black: Benchrest primers (large and small).
      • Orange: Military primers (7.62mm and 5.56mm).
And since APS strips were sold empty, you have no way to tell exactly what brand of primers are in them.
If you are familiar with the colors of the priming compound, you can probably get close.

Your BR primers look to have a little "c" on them which would make those CCI.

Barrel, sight and trigger work on most pistols and shotguns.
      Most work performed while-you-wait.

The foil covering the priming compound has no standard color. That would make too much sense.

You can measure the height of the primers to determine rifle or pistol but after that it's all up to Ms. Cleo.

Primers are 5c to 10c right now so that’s about $15-30 worth.
please don’t risk your safety for that..

This. Besides with close inspection of the picture something seems off with them. The center set has mixed colors. Possibly refilled strips. How can you be sure they are all the same and what type. Next a bunch seem to have what looks like a previous primer strike in the center possibly refilled. Yes it can be done. Probably should not use. I would not recommend.

That mark is a little “C”.
that’s how CCI benchrest primers are marked.
it actually identifies those primers both to brand and being rifle primers as there are no benchrest pistol primers or benchrest magnum primers that I am aware of.
therefore, a C marked primer has to be CCI benchrest rifle primers.
