Lyman #311410 powder coated 130 grain PB over Unique in .308...fun, fun!

I've had this mold for quite a while now and use if to cast for my AK's. Last nyte I powder coated a bunch of these bullets and decided I'd load them for my .308 bolt action. Earlier today, I grabbed my chrono and took my lunch on our range. Fired off about 10 rounds and what a blast it was. 6.5 grains of Unique gave me 1187 fps (my lowest) to 1200 (my highest). I wasn't shooting for groups rather I was function testing these rounds and all was perfect. I would guess it felt somewhat like a .38 special/9MM... Anyone else play around with this bullet?

My favorite pet load (for the time being) is 5.5 grains of Red Dot under a 165 RNFP in .30-30. I'm not casting yet, but I shoot plenty of lead bullets. The velocity for that load is usually about 1050 (Red Dot is a bit position and temp sensitive); it's quiet, soft, cheap, and loads of fun.
