Next item is to get the slide cut for an optic. I have an Holosun RMR cut optic for that gun.

If you add an optic you're adding weight which in turn means you might upset the balance of slide weight / spring / charge.

You might want to add the optic before dealing with the springs, so that when you choose a spring it's based on the final slide weight and not one that will change.

Yep. I ordered the spring tuning kit, a new slide with RMR cut. Kid’s birthday is the 8th. stuff should be here by the 4th. Plan is to put the slide together and run down to the range and tune it up first….. might be better to have him put it together and tune it.

Kid has style, here is the slide he liked. Also got a kit with matching back plate, mag release and 2 mag baseplates.
